Meet Mariela
the soul of Lolalá
I’m Mariela — Architect, designer, and founder of Lolalá.
The ocean and the jungle have always been my playground. I grew up listening to nature and finding magic in the small things, surrounded by art in all its forms. This sparked a love for the imperfect, the tactile, the local.
Lolalá was born from that love — for nature, for the essence of things and for design that listens before it speaks.
Why Lolalá?
Lolalá is more than a studio — it’s a way of seeing. Every project starts with the land, the light, the wind, and the body. We don’t copy and paste. We sit, sketch, talk, and build — always with the idea that great design is personal, purposeful,
and a little bit wild.
